I decided to add something new to our Saige Nicole's Blog - I'm calling it Girl Talk but that may change. So, what's different about Girl Talk? During the weekend blog instead of writing about Saige Nicole's exclusively, I will be writing about things I love as a Woman, Mom, Friend, Wife and Business Owner. They'll be random and in no particular order from dining - activities for families or mommy getaways - products I love and want to share - new ideas - events, just whatever happens to tickle my funny bone, pull at my heartstrings or gets me excited. Simply put Girl Talk. So, I hope you enjoy these posts and that you'll join in the conversation too!

A few months back I accidentally came across Rojos Mango Peach Salsa. I thought it would be a nice twist to traditional salsa - and more refreshing on a hot summers day. A savory blend of Mango, Peach, Tomato and Cilantro mixed with a few other underlying ingrediants gives this salsa a tangy, sweet taste; a nice twist to traditional salsa when you want to change things up. I was happy with it as a salsa with my chips when I decided to experiment. I have now used it as a marinate for chicken and pork and have used it over my meats during cooking. The key is to pour the salsa over your meat as soon as you put it in the skillet and let it slowly cook allowing the meat to soak up all the mouth watering flavors. Serve with your favorite sides (our family loves when I use the salsa while making home style potatoes) or cut the meat into slices and serve it warm over a cold cesar salad for a meal that is quick, refreshing and perfect for the whole family. When you have your girlfriends over add margarities to the menu for a girlsnight out meal that's fast, saucy and fun. I purchase the Rojos Mango Salsa from Costco for a little over $5.00 for a 3lb jar.
